What you need to use ECM
The browsers ECM works in, and the two things to leave switched on.
ECM runs in your web browser, so there's nothing to install.
Browsers
ECM works in the current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on a computer, a tablet or a phone. Keep your browser up to date, because that keeps it safe as well as working.
Leave these switched on
- Cookies. ECM uses a small cookie to keep you signed in, and another to protect its forms. It doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- JavaScript. Most browsers have it on already. ECM needs it for menus, searching as you type, and the charts.
Passkeys
A passkey needs a device that supports them: most recent phones, tablets and computers do. If yours doesn't, sign in with your password instead.
Printing
Reports and giving letters print from your browser, on ordinary letter-size paper. See Printing a report for tips.
